I am pleased to introduce our territory as a platform for profitable investment.

The Kavkazskiy district with its administrative center in the town of Kropotkin is a new, young municipal formation in the Krasnodar region.

Today, the Kavkazskiy district is a modern culture of farming, livestock sector, traditions and way of life of the Cossacks, as well as latest equipment and technologies in industry, education and healthcare.

The Kavkazskiy district is a transportation junction of southern Russia. Powerful foreign trade and transit flows of cargo go through the railway station Kavkazskaya (the city of Kropotkin) combining all territories of the Krasnodar region and southern Russia. In addition, Kropotkin is a major road junction. There is a federal highway “Caucasus”, as well as regional roads of “Temryuk – Krasnodar – Stavropol” here.

There are more than 70 industrial enterprises on the territory of the district. In 2013, the volume of investments in large and medium enterprises of the city amounted to 1,479.5 million rubles.

The agricultural sector of the Kavkazskiy district yearly produces on average 220 thousand tons of grain, 190 thousand tons of sugar beets, 20 thousand tons of sunflowers, 5,000 tons of soybeans, 20 thousand tons of milk, about 7 thousand tons of livestock and poultry in live weight.

Investment potential of the district is represented by industrial zones both in Kropotkin and in the Cossack village of Kavkazskaya. Territorial zoning was performed, and investment sites for implementation of projects were identified. A general plan of Kropotkin and all rural settlements of the district were approved. Materials on 24th investment projects and 24th investment attractive plots were developed for presentation to potential investors. In particular, construction of a factory for the production of vegetable and fruit juices, a cattle farm, a sugar factory, a workshop for production of metal hardware and others is supposed on the territory of the district.

The municipality has a great potential for development of the fuel and energy sector. An oil transshipment point steadily works and rapidly develops in the district.

Among the largest investment projects successfully implemented in the district, there are as follows:
• a project on construction of the Kropotkin Oil Pumping Station by the CJSC Caspian Pipeline Consortium – R Kropotkin (in the Cossack village of Kavkazskaya);
• a project on construction of the Oil Terminal by the CJSC Naftatrans (in the Cossack village of Kavkazskaya), and
• the construction of the Oil Extraction Plant by the OJSC South Petroleum Refiner Agroproduct (in the city of Kropotkin). We are ready to consider any alternatives of the cooperation.
