St. Nicholas Church of the village of Kavkazskaya
The building of the church is a rare example of modern church architecture, made in the Old Russian style, and in full compliance with its canons of 12th – 13th centuries. At the first glance at St. Nicholas Church, the iconic buildings of Vladimir-Suzdal architecture of pre-Mongol Rus come to mind. With its flying, upward-looking silhouette it reminds of the famous Church of the Intercession on the Nerl. Five domes on high graceful dome drums with decorative borders reminds us about the Assumption Cathedral in Vladimir and the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Mother of God in Suzdal.
St. Nicholas Church of Kavkazskaya village is located at 203, Lenina street, Kavkazskaya village, Kavkazskiy district, Krasnodar region
Holy Protection Cathedral of Kropotkin
In 1894 a missionary monastery was established in Romanovsky khutor (farm). The first temple of the monks was a church in honor of the Kazan icon of the Mother of God. The Holy Protection Cathedral was built later, in 1912. The temple in honor of the Kazan icon was destroyed at the end of the 1930s.
The missionary monastery in Romanovsky khutor (farm) was closed in 1922, leaving behind the Holy Protection Cathedral and the Kazan Church. Between 1929 and 1943, no services were held in the cathedral. A significant restoration project took place starting in 1976, which included covering the domes with copper, painting the walls inside, restoring and gilding the iconostasis. Following 1991, 12 cells were returned. In 1999, a bell tower was constructed, and the Kazan church was restored in a modified form, now used for the ceremony of Baptism.
In 2009 the restoration of the cathedral was completed.
The cathedral is situated in the historic center of the city and is a significant architectural monument from the 19th century with regional importance.

The Church of the Holy Trinity in the village of Kazanskaya, Krasnodar region (Holy Trinity Church)
The Church of the Holy Trinity was founded in 1914, and the last building was constructed between 1914 and 1915. It was designed by architect A.P. Kosyakin and built in the western part of the village simultaneously with St. George’s Church at the military cemetery in the eastern part of the village Kazanskaya. The church was consecrated on June 24, 1915, by Bishop John of Yeisky. This one-domed four-pillar church in the Russian style is connected to a refectory with a two-tiered bell tower under an octagonal hipped roof, topped with a golden onion-shaped dome. The main volume is adorned with a high light drum-vosmyerik (octagonal architectural structure in Old Russia) with a gold-colored onion dome (replaced in the early 2010s with a new design) and four decorative onion domes. The exterior features intricate figurative brickwork, including arched window frames, friezes, square decorative brickwork, and Greek crosses.
The temple is located at the address: 170, Krasnaya str., Kazanskaya village, Kavkazskiy district, Krasnodar region.
