Krasnodar Territory discussed the prospects of Russian-African tourism at the Let’s Travel! forum in Moscow

A round table was held at the Russia exhibition, during which Elena Logunova, Deputy Minister of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage of the Krasnodar Territory, spoke about the potential of the Krasnodar Territory. Representatives of relevant ministries and departments discussed issues of Russian-African cooperation.

«We wanted to have fruitful discussions between Russian and African parties in the field of tourism and business. We have explored the possibilities of strategic cooperation between Russia and Africa in these areas. Partnership is important for both our country and the African continent, as it unlocks the economic potential of the territories. In addition, the panel discussion is an opportunity for the promotion of BRICS expansion through the development of tourism and the business environment,» Elena Logunova stressed.

The development of public-private partnerships, creation of a favorable investment environment in tourism, identification of potential destinations and priority market segments, and the use of digital innovations to promote tourism are among the areas under consideration for joint work.

During the four days of the forum, the booth of the Krasnodar Territory was visited by about 10 thousand people. Representatives of Krasnodar Territory established new business contacts. Negotiations and meetings were held and a cooperation agreement was signed with the tour operator Biblioglobus.

The 4th Russian Tourism Forum Let’s Travel! was held at the International Exhibition-Forum Russia from June 12 to 16, 2024. 89 regions and four countries organized street expositions stands. The main attractions of travel destinations and the diversity of nature were displayed.

The forum was organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the official support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization «National Priorities», the Center for Strategic Research and leading industry associations.
